Some of ME
I have always made art works of self expression. Everything has always seemed to me an ingredient to be used for self expression. Everything is self expression. Within my family I have always enjoyed the title of 'an artist” and deep appreciation of my family and friends for the variety of things I create.
After High School, I spent 6 years at The Ohio State University slurping up all the art making I could and enjoying the magnificent facilities and freedom that came with such a brilliant scholastic choice. That fabulous school with it's building and library for everything was a lovely match for me and my multi disciplinary tastes. While working on my tripple major in Drawing-Painting-Printmaking I won the Hoyt L. Sherman Memorial Scholarship in both 1986 and 1987!
After collage, I taught private lessons in fine art at Stivers School for the Arts, Dayton Art Institute, Dayton Visual Arts Center, and many other creative venues in Dayton Ohio. I also taught self appreciation and personal discovery skills for Daybreak. I love using the act of making art to uplift and inspire others to their own ideals.
I am an artist that looked to my creativity to find ways to help myself and the world while being a hoarder of my own work. Keeping everythign like some ancient relics being save for ... Antiques Road Show! I am enjoying digging into my archives and finding things to share. I feel blessed to have virtual reality at my finger tips. Talk about an art supply.
